Quick Answer

Connect a capsule output to the station intake by Conveyor to sell its output automatically. For Moon Sweepers auto selling, start with the Building Tool and a Packager, Robot Vacuum, or Garage Silo output. Point each belt section toward the station, then test a small load and check that your balance increases.

Connect your capsule output to the station intake

Connect a building's capsule output to the station intake with a Conveyor, and the arriving material sells automatically. You do not need to carry those capsules inside or manually launch a shipment afterward.

Start with the Building Tool and one source of dust capsules. A Packager works if you collect dust yourself; Robot Vacuum and Garage outputs can feed the same kind of selling route.

  1. Place your capsule-producing building near the work you want to collect.
  2. Attach the first Conveyor section to its capsule output. On a Packager, use the rear output.
  3. Extend the route toward the station. Check that each section carries capsules toward the selling destination.
  4. Join additional sections wherever the route needs to continue. Keep their direction consistent.
  5. Connect the final section into the station's external intake.
  6. Feed a small load into the source and follow its capsule to the intake.

The final connection matters as much as the route. A belt ending beside the station can leave capsules outside without completing a sale. Deliver into the intake rather than toward the indoor selling machine.

If you need to work on the route itself, follow the Conveyor Belt setup before connecting more output sources.

Choose a dust source that fits your cleaning

Choose a Packager for hand-collected dust, a Robot Vacuum for local automatic collection, or the Garage Silo for vehicle loads. Automatic delivery removes the return trip, but your source determines how much work you still do.

Robot Vacuum Mk IChoose ground with dust remaining
Garage SiloDrive onto the collector pad

With a Packager, deposit the dust you collect and let the belt carry the resulting capsules to the station. This automates selling while leaving collection in your hands.

A Robot Vacuum cleans the surrounding area, returns to its dock, and sends packed dust onto a connected Conveyor. Give that output a route to the intake if you want collection and selling to run without depositing each load yourself. Once the nearby sectors are clean, the robot has nothing left to collect. Put it where dirty terrain remains.

For vehicle loads, position your vehicle on the Garage's collector pad beneath the unloading equipment. Dust transfers into the silo, whose output can feed the selling belt. Finish that connection before heading out for a large cleaning run so the unloaded dust has a route back to the station.

On the collector pad, the vehicle empties into the silo, and the silo output feeds the belt.

Test the route by watching your balance

Confirm a working sale by watching a capsule enter the intake and your money increase. Dust and stone arriving by belt are paid as they come in, and the intake pays the amount shown on its screen.

Run this check with a small load before extending your network:

  1. Deposit some dust into the Packager, or let your automated cleaner produce a capsule.
  2. Watch whether the capsule leaves the building and joins the first belt.
  3. Follow it through the joins and into the station intake.
  4. Check your balance when the delivery arrives.

If capsules pile up beside the station, fix the last connection and test another load. Do not look for the delivered material inside to sell it a second time. The intake delivery completes that transaction.

If nothing leaves the source, inspect its output connection first. If the capsule travels away from the station, correct the belt direction. Following the first stopped capsule gives you a specific connection to fix instead of rebuilding the whole route.

Keep processing machines supplied and powered

Keep a Pressure Chamber or Stone Press powered, supplied with the correct input materials, and connected to a clear output route. A working Conveyor cannot deliver material that the machine has stopped producing.

Check the first place where material backs up. If the source is producing capsules but they stop along the route, inspect the belt connections. If production itself has stopped, check the machine's power, incoming materials, and outgoing path before adding more equipment.

Run an overflow line that sends part of your lower-tier product straight to the intake. "You always want to have overflow lines like this that will always sell a certain amount of the lower-level product because you will produce too much." The extra output keeps earning instead of piling up.

Solar-powered production can stop at night after stored battery energy runs out. Check your Solar Panels and stored power when a processing line stops after dark. An empty belt can be the result of a stopped machine upstream.

A "Could not pack a capsule" stop while power and materials were fine was a bug, fixed in patch 1.0.4. If a line still stops, check power, input materials and the output path.

Expand through a Merger or Capsule Catcher

Use a Merger to combine several Conveyor routes into one outgoing belt after your first selling line works. This lets multiple collection points share the route to the station instead of each needing a separate return line.

J.O.O.N.A.S. launches collected capsules toward the nearest Capsule Catcher. Connect the Catcher's output to your existing transport network so those loads can reach the selling intake too. The Catcher holds 100 kg, and its glass shows the collected dust.

J.O.O.N.A.S. can launch capsules while moving on to the next sector without returning to its dock, and keeps cleaning when no players are nearby. Keep that behavior separate from the Robot Vacuum's return-to-dock collection cycle.

Add sources after you have seen both delivery and payment on the original route. Your setup is working when capsules reach the intake and the balance rises without a manual shipment. From there, continue with making money as you expand collection into fresh terrain.
